SCHOLARSHIP |
---|
The Graduate Program in Chemistry may award scholarships to regular students enrolled in the Master's or Doctoral program.
The Program's scholarships are obtained from Post-graduate funding agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, Fundação Araucária.
To encourage the participation of students from other countries, scholarship quotas may be reserved for the Master's and Doctoral programs, depending on the availability of scholarships from Graduate Program in Chemistry.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the student must be dedicated to the course on a full-time basis.
The scholarships are granted according to criteria defined in a Specific Resolution, which takes into account, among other things, the performance in the courses, the analysis of the Curriculum vitae, the publications and how long the student is enrolled in the program.
Periodically, the Graduate Progam in Chemistry publishes an announcement so that students interested in requesting for a scholarship can apply and submit their documentation for analysis by the Scholarship Committee.
The Master's and Doctoral Scholarship Committees rank the regular students enrolled, and the result is approved by the Academic Council.
The Scholarship Committee is made up permanent Graduate Program in Chemistry faculty and student representatives from the Master's and Doctoral programs.
Between October and December, CNPq will launch TWAS scholarship notices aimed at foreigners from developing countries to pursue a full doctorate in Brazil. Some of the requirements are: having a master's degree, fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish and/or English, not having a permanent and/or temporary residence visa in Brazil, letter of acceptance from a professor of the Graduate Program in Chemistry, among others.
