ABOUT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF MARINGA

UEM offers its students, at more affordable prices, breakfast (US$0,35), lunch (US$0,90), and dinner (US$0,90) at the university restaurant. https://ru.uem.br/

The University provides free Wi-Fi internet signal to students.

In terms of emergency medical care, UEM has a:

ABOUT THE CITY OF MARINGA
  • Housing

The neighborhood where the university is located has several supermarkets, banks, commercial stores, and apartments for rent.

Information about housing availability and rental and purchase prices can be obtained through search engines, such as: https://sub100.com.br ou https://www.zapimoveis.com.br

An example would be a one bedroom apartment which would cost US$115,00 + US$80,00 per month (rent + fee).

  • Food

There are several restaurants near the University. The cost of a simple meal is US$5,00

  • Internet

In the city, in some tourist spots, free Wi-Fi internet is also provided.

In the apartment, it is possible to hire the paid service for the amount of US$20,00 per month.

  • Electricity

The cost of electricity for the apartment is around US$40,00 per month.

  • Water

The cost of water for the apartment is usually included in the fee. In houses the cost is US$20,00 per month

POST-DOCTORAL PROGRAM

The post-doctoral internship aims to carry out high-level studies, contributing to the scientific and technological development of research carried out in the graduate Program in Chemistry at UEM.

This internship lasts for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 36 months.

The post-doctoral internship involves drawing up a plan of activities to be developed together with one of the advisors/supervisor.
